Gang of Bordeaux is not a hotel, and not a traditional private chef service.
It is an intimate hospitality experience, led by a chef, designed for travelers seeking depth, authenticity, and meaningful connection.

Welcome to Bordeaux


Based in a 19th-century hôtel particulier in the heart of Bordeaux, Gang of Bordeaux welcomes guests as friends, offering a way of living and hosting rooted in gastronomy, culture, creativity, and time well spent together.

Founded by Chef David Sabatier, author of two books on cooking and environmental sustainability, the project explores a form of slow luxury where discretion, elegance, and sincerity matter more than spectacle.

A lived-in experience, shaped by people and place

Each stay is conceived as a conversation between:

  • the season

  • the local terroir

  • the people gathered around the table

Days may include market visits, shared meals, long conversations, private tastings with winemakers, or creative workshops such as embroidery or painting, alongside hands-on culinary experiences.

Through personal relationships built over time, guests may also gain rare access to privately owned châteaux and character properties in Bordeaux and beyond.

The hôtel particulier features:

  • 5 premium suites

  • a private garden and pool

  • elegant shared spaces designed for hosting, dining, and conversation
