Chef David Sabatier
David Sabatier is a French chef and founder of Gang of Bordeaux, a Catering company & small Boutique Hotel based in Bordeaux.
David works primarily in France (Bordeaux, Côte d’Azur, Alps) and the Caribbean. A former international business lawyer for a global clientele of high-net-worth individuals, he has spent nearly ten years dedicating himself to high-end private cuisine. Fluent in French, English, and Spanish, David provides services for 2 to 1,000 guests during events, family holidays or exclusive stays in France and in the Caribbean.
He is the author of two books on the profession of private chef and nomadic cuisine (La Bible de la Cuisine à Bord, 2019 & Gastronomie Nomade, 2023) and the owner of the B&B Gang of Bordeaux, located in the heart of Bordeaux, where he leads culinary retreats and workshops. In his free time, he serves as the head chef of the largest charitable restaurant in France.
An experienced sailor, David has crossed the Atlantic multiple times and has worked on superyachts in the Caribbean and along the French Riviera.
David’s cuisine is a refined blend of French culinary tradition and contemporary creativity, emphasizing seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Each menu is meticulously crafted to reflect his clients’ tastes and preferences, transforming every meal into a unique gastronomic experience, whether it is an intimate dinner, a cooking class, or a large-scale catered event.
Notably, he participated in the official program of Her Majesty the Queen of England’s visit to Bordeaux, at the invitation of the French Presidency in September 2023.
